Are you concerned about your credit history?
Credit reports are created by private companies called credit-reporting bodies. They include information (or a history) about a person’s financial borrowings and repayments.
The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code 2014 control the type of information that can be collected, how long it can be kept and who can access the information.
Ordinarily you are entitled to one free credit history report per year. Click on the link to find out more information. https://www.moneysmart.gov.au/borrowing-and-credit/borrowing-basics/credit-reports
